If students are new members of Groove & are not familiar with these exercises, the instructors will take them through the exercises during the audition and access their abilities for their group placement.

IMPACT & PURSUIT

IMPACT AUDITIONS:

**Please prepare ONLY the specific audition material listed below and a 1-2 minute solo**

Front Ensemble will play:
- Scales/Arpeggios in C major & A major
- London Bridge
- 7/8 Block Chords
- Solo Piece
- Music Here
Battery will play:
- 7-5-3 (or 8 on a hand)
- Three Camps
- 3/4 Rolls
- Advance Timing
- 1-2 minute solo
- Music Here
Cymbals will play:
- 10 crashes total: ranging from very soft to loud
- 5 other sounds/effects that you can define, perform and teach
- 90 second solo. Be Creative!

PURSUIT AUDITIONS:
